Dog Dental Care

Here are some tips to help take care of your dog's teeth.

- When you dog is a puppy get them used to having things in their mouth, but rubbing your finger along the teeth and gums of your puppy. When time comes to use a dog toothbrush, they will be used to having something in their mouth.
- Most veterinarians recommend brushing your dog's teeth daily. While this may not be realistic for everyone, try to brush your dog's teeth a few times a week.
- When brushing your dog's teeth, use toothpaste and toothbrushes that are made for dogs. It can be harmful for your dog if you use ones made for humans.
- Giving your dogs bones that are made for dental care are a great way to help prevent tarter build up and keep your dog's breath fresh smelling.
